Tray capacity: The primary specification for commercial and construction buyers. Standard sizes range from 60 litres (economy/domestic) to 80–100 litres (construction standard) and 120+ litres (heavy-duty or contractor grade). Capacity is measured in litres (L) or cubic feet (cu ft) — 1 cubic foot ≈ 28.3 litres. African and Asian markets commonly specify by volume in litres; European markets use both. Tray material: Steel tray (most common for construction — pressed steel, typically 1.0–1.5mm thick, painted or powder coated); galvanised steel tray (for wet environments and agricultural use — longer service life); polyethylene (poly) tray (lighter, corrosion-resistant, suited to chemical or fertiliser use, popular in agriculture and landscaping). Wheel: Pneumatic tyre (most common — 4.00-6 or 3.50-6 size for construction) or solid PU foam-filled (puncture-proof — preferred for jobsite use). Ball bearings vs plain bushings in the wheel hub.
