Pigment inkjet: direct-to-textile printing requiring only hot-air curing — growing rapidly for cotton; no water treatment but lower washfastness than reactive. DTG (Direct-to-Garment): pigment inkjet on pre-treated garment — ideal for short-run customisation.

Screen printing: highest ink opacity and colour vibrancy; cost-effective for 500+ pieces per design; setup cost (screen making) makes short runs uneconomical; ideal for spot colours on T-shirts, athletic wear. Digital inkjet: no screen costs; economical for 1–200 pieces; full-photographic print quality; slower throughput than screen for high volumes. Sublimation: best for all-over polyester printing; extremely vibrant; not suitable for cotton. Most production facilities offer multiple technologies for different order sizes and substrate requirements.
