Post-consumer LLDPE/LDPE: carrier bags, food packaging film, mixed film packaging from household collection. Highest contamination — food residues, inks, adhesives, contamination from mixed collection. Typically requires hot wash for acceptable output quality. The washing plant design must be matched to the input stream. A line designed for clean post-industrial film will be under-specified for post-consumer household film collection.
