What documents do I need to register as a Chinese supplier?
At minimum: your business licence (营业执照) and the legal representative's ID card. For Verified status, also provide: export licence (if applicable), any product certifications (CE, ISO, etc.) and company bank details for payment.
Can trading companies (贸易公司) register, or only factories?
Both are welcome. Trading companies and manufacturers both list on Towobo. You'll be asked to declare your business type during registration. Manufacturers who complete verification can display a "Producer" badge — a trust signal that often attracts buyers looking for factory-direct pricing.
How does payment work for Chinese suppliers?
Buyer pays Towobo securely. Towobo holds the funds until the buyer confirms receipt or the protection window expires. Funds are then released to your registered bank account or settlement wallet. Towobo supports international wire transfer (SWIFT) and other settlement methods.
What languages do buyers on Towobo speak?
