Energy efficiency standards: EU Regulation No. 278/2009 (EuP Lot 6) specifies minimum efficiency requirements for external power supplies; the US DoE Level VI standard applies to externally connected power supplies; these require average efficiency ≥87% at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% load points for ≥49W adapters.
